Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 glass butter milk
1 glass rice flour
mustard seeds
cumin seeds
urad daal
channa daal
green chillies
red chillies
curry leaves
oil
salt to taste
Preparation Method:
Step1:
Add 2 tbsp of oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad daal, channa daal, curry leaves, green and red chillies.
Step2:
Add 1 and 1/2 glass of butter milk and salt
Step3:
Watch the below video to mix the flour
Step4:
Switch off the stove and cover the lid for 7 minutes
Your vuppindi looks like this
Serve with Mango pickle or any of your favourite pickle

Hi Swati, the recipe looks good. I want to try it but I am confused. Do I need to add the flour after adding the buttermilk in the oil, because in the video you have added flour directly into the oil.

U need to add the flour after adding the buttermilk in the oil,In the video i added flour directly into the water not in oil,instead of water u can add diluted buttermilk.

Step 3 video is missing. Do you stir first and keep the lid for 7 minutes or keep the lid first and the stir. Please make it clear. I used one and half cups water it came out like one thick mass not like the picture you have.

Can i keep it in a frozen format?
